Terms and Conditions of Participation in the W.H.E.E.L. Project.

W.H.E.E.L. – Wellness, Health, Environment, Empowerment, Learning – is a European project co-financed by the Erasmus+ Sport program, dedicated to promoting cycling, sustainability, education and social inclusion.

1. Project Purpose

The main goal of the project is to collect, recondition and redistribute bicycles to children in need, thus promoting an active lifestyle, respect for the environment and social equity.

2. Participation in the Project

Any natural or legal person can participate in the project by:

  • Donating old bicycles or functional components;
  • Involving in the reconditioning process through volunteering;
  • Supporting educational activities carried out within the WHEEL events;
  • Promoting cycling in schools and in the community.

3. Rights and Responsibilities

Participants commit to respecting the project values: sustainability, inclusion, education, mutual respect and collaboration. The organizers reserve the right to select the final beneficiaries of the refurbished bicycles based on criteria established in partnership with the associated institutions.

4. Use of Data

Personal data collected within the project will be used exclusively for administrative and communication purposes related to the project and will not be disclosed to third parties without the express consent of the data subject.

5. Funding and Liability

The project is co-financed by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.

6. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the WHEEL project, each participant accepts these terms and actively contributes to our shared mission to promote a healthier lifestyle and a sustainable future for children and communities.
